I don't have any pics right now, but I have the Phillips Ultra White Bulbs and they are a definite improvement over stock. Nice and clear white vs yellow stock ones, and they work better at night.

I have Silverstar Ultras and HIDs. The light looks pretty much like regular halogen but maybe 25% (+/- to my perception) brighter.
Using the HIDs now and they are MUCH brighter.

6k hids are very blue compared to silverstars.
Oh you mean LEDs...silverstars lack any colors really.

I just picked up a pair of zxe's- I am reading mixed reviews, and Advanced Auto Parts says they don't take them back once opened... So I may just go return them. Looking hard at the Hella bulbs. But not finding many reviews

Your not going to find an un coated halogen bulb that puts out 5-6k in color.. And a coated bulb that does put out close to that color won't have much for a light output, unfortunately, if you want 6k color.. Idk why since 4-5k puts out the best light, then you have to go hid.. Is there a reason your dead set against hid.. I mean PnP set ups are crap in my eyes, and why I went with a real retrofit,, and my 5k is just barely off of the colors of the LED's switchbacks and my angle eyes that I now use as my DRL..
And my silverstar ultras for my high beams are off in color a lot next to my 5k hid.. I can snap a pic if you want to see the difference |

I wonder what piaa ion yellow high beam bulbs would look like? Like their old fog lights 1000 or 1500 series?

I do run PIAA on my GSXR, I can snap a pic of them, they are whiter then a stock halogen, but no where close to a 6k... Those two bulbs cost me 135$ tho, and worth every penny.. Super super bright.. Again for halogen they are pretty white, but not "white" like your wanting
