Torque Android app test results

Hi all.

I've been using the torque android app to see the information about my car.
Whilst I have no error codes, I do have some failed (red) items under the "test Results" area.

Has anyone used this app and knows what some of the results mean?
I tried googling for help but found nothing.

Cheers

You need to say what items specifically, it's impossible to tell without knowing

I did realise this whilst posting :P Wanted to gauge if anyone had used it before. Alas here is a screenshot. My biggest concern is the "Misfire cylinder 11 data" one.

What, do you have an engine swap from a Ferrari F12 to warrant that concern? On that note, why would the minimum acceptable number for misfires be 23,865?

When I've run torque and carista I've never had that, 23865 seems like a programming bug, like a integer issue or a hexadecimal notation. I'm guessing that's the range of values that are output by the ECU as ok? or maybe not ok? . There isn't really anything you can do to interpret that data maybe @steve99 can tackle this.

Do you have any codes from the ecu? i.e. DTCs?

Possibly coil pack issue I'm not sure

yep just read the DTC or CEL codes, looks like torque is off with the faries, if its got no cel or cts codes active do worry.

if your rearly concerned get techstream or take it to a dealer or auro shop

Hahaha I laughed too hard at this. That was my thought too. I have a feeling it's reading it all wrong.

There's no codes popping up. Something strange occurs when I do scan for errors in torque though. Historically when I've scanned for codes, it has taken a minute or two with the % complete rising by a value of 3-10. On my last few scans, it has jumped by 50% and done within 10 seconds. Is that normal?

The only mods on the car and valenti tail lights and a Perrin 3" catback exhaust.

DTC scan should take less than a minute including results from the other ECUs around the car.

I did more research for you and found some very obscure unusual stuff, all leading to a dead end, saying the same stuff I said but on a Ford and RX8 forum, to everyone it's unintelligible "gunk" data. If there are no DTC codes in the ECU I wouldn't worry about it, but ELM 327 bluetooth obdII dongles are notorious for these sort of weird readings and output values to apps. If anything I'd get it taken to a dealer for a serious techstream diagnostic if it bothers you that much.

I've never used torque before, but those "tests" appear to be ODB2 readiness monitors. Some of them take multiple drive cycles to complete. Obviously you have no cylinder 11, so it's most likely an error with the software or your tools. If you did have a misfire the engine would be setting a DTC, its very sensitive.
