Downloaded the GT86 at lunch today, what a pain in the ass video games have become! I've been playing Forza 4 so GT5 has sat for a few months... first had to upgrade PS3 to 4.0, the had to upgrade GT5 to 2.02, then had to receive all my useless gifts... then was FINALLY able to receive the GT86 and test it out! Sorry to vent, but I only play casually now, used to be a huge gamer until about 2000. Because I just get a chance to play somewhat rarely, it seems every time I just want to sit and play for 30 minutes, my entire time gets wasted by updates. Sorry again, onto the game.
Only had a chance to try Laguna Seca for about 10 laps so far, best time with dual shock was 1:46.133.

best i got tonight 1.07.171. Maybe with abit more practice i can squeeze out abit more. But it's late.
![]() No mods, ABS 1, oil changed, Logitech DFGT best car ever for GT5. Might not be the fastest but one of the most fun cars to drive. Does whatever you want it to on command. awesome. |

+1 on that man. Other cars are for sure faster, but they are just that...faster. They haven't been exactly FUN like the 86 has been. Last edited by Dragonitti; 12-22-2011 at 03:12 PM. |

Managed to get about 50 min of game time now in between Christmas preparations.
Had to set up my G25 again for some Nordschleife fun! ![]() Anyway, ABS 1, and new car with new oil and settings as stated in 1. post. Car started at 409pp. 1. lap 8.19.762 2. lap 8.18.742!!! LOL!!! Excatly the same as the current 1. place holder!!3. lap lost some in first corner. Took picture.. restart 1. lap 8.18.524 2. lap 8.15.914 3. lap.. got a little on the grass on lost 1,5 in a big drift... but had a 0,6 sec lead to my previous lap. And on that lap I think i lost some later on. So 8.15 should be "easily" possible with my current skills. Car now has 410pp and 100km on it.. So it still has some horses waiting for me.. With optimal engine output and a perfect fast lap I guess 8.13 would be possible for me. Guessing the best hot-lappers could do at least 8.07 in a stock GT86 with maxed out engine and sport hard tires. |

If anyone knows how to transfer ghost files, let me know, because when I export the replays to the xmb and then save it on my thumb drive, I get a folder with a bunch of different files. I would think I'd only need the replay data, but I'm not 100% sure.

We could start up a lap time board for Forza using a different stock car until the FR-S or BRZ become available? As much as I'm tempted to, I don't think I'm gonna run out and buy a PS3 just to race around in the FR-S.
