If I could justify the cash, these are my wheel of choice. Reckon they would look mint on hot lava

I've had a couple people tell me they look better in person than in photos. I'm just not a very good photographer apparently.

I'm fairly set on these too. Does anyone know if these are cast, semi-forged, forged?

They are flow formed cast wheels. It is supposed to be an in between option. Lighter and stronger than standard cast wheels, not quite as light and strong as forged.

The engineer in me loves to see manufacturing vids, I thought this was pretty interesting.

Flowforming casting - not by weds but you get the idea.

Maybe it is just the music, but that was kinda sexy.

We have been gifted with lots of rain and clouds for this week, so I snapped a couple quick (and very dirty) comparison pictures.

The lighting is different, the angles aren't quite the same, etc. etc. But:

I was considering it at first, but now that I see them on the car I'm going to leave them this color. The "titanium" finish gives it a darker silver look that I think works well with the black car. It gives the impression of a normal car that's been 'shopped and made a few shades darker.

If I were to change the color, I would go for a lighter gunmetal shade to keep the wheels from looking black. But then, I already have a black-on-black car so I don't feel the need to make another.
