We had this debate a little in the club, some argue its a 25-30k investment would I just light 30k on fire.. While I wouldn't do that, to me it's just a car, one that is fully insured.. I'm sure my insurance company wouldn't be to happy with the story of, " yeah was talking to this cool guy so I threw him the keys and told him to take it for a spin. He never came back" lol I've gone through many many cars, this is one of the nicer ones, as far as I'm concerned. I've bought brand new family cars, but this is a whole different beast. I haven't fixed the dent I received in September where that guy backed into me.. Mainly because it doesn't take anything away from the car but looks on that side.. It's a car, and nothing more.. It's not a persons wife/husband.. It's a material object and I find it... Unique how people put meterial objects higher then people..

And yes I let a neighbors brother that I just met take the car out for a spin, i didn't even go with him.. He was a marine, seemed cool was in awe of the FRS and wanting to trade the TC he had for one.. As far as I know, I have moved since then, he got a black one, according to his sister

When I see someone approaching my car, I get in real fast and leave lol.

You do have balls. I let my Gf drive my G35 once, and she destroyed the undercarriage. Never again!!!!!!!!!!! let alone a stranger.

I let my wife drove the car, she had 3 months of practice driving another Manual Impreza so I knew she knew what she was doing, or so I thought. We came across a green turning light and she was in 6th gear going 15 mph and didnt do a proper downshift to 2nd gear like I been trying to teach her, she held onto the clutch for a good 5 seconds and didnt blip the throttle like I been saying to her, causing the tires to chirp while she quickly releases the clutch with the rpms at 600. I could smell the burn of clutch as we came to a stop. Even today, she will cannot grasp this concept and stubbornly tells me that she knows how to downshift but dont wanna do it when im there because shes scared when im with her, haha.

It may only be a car, but I dont like driving a broke ass piece of sh*t. If I take too much good care of the car by washing it everyday and baby it, people will ask why I wash the car everyday. If I dont take good care of the car and I beat on it and dont take it to car washes, people will say why do I drive a piece of crap. No matter what you do, you cannot escape criticism, I let people who I know that can drive drive my car. For those people who are immature and think about nothing but see how fast this car is, or want to use my car as a practice dummy, then I got another car for ya.

I tried letting my wife drive my first FRS because I knew it was going away, so the clutch would have been perfect for her to learn on. She still didnt want to try to learn.

oh well.

I've offered a couple of people to drive my car and couple more took them on a joyride, and everytime they get out of the car they have a bigass smile on their faces.
