Wish I would have joined :/

Question for @digital_assassin:
How difficult was it to wrap your dash in the 3M carbon fiber vinyl? I just ordered a roll and it should be here on Wednesday.

It's a pain if you take off the existing vinyl since it's brittle even when heated. If you're just wrapping over the top of it then it's super easy. Heat, stretch, stick, repeat.

Is there a significant advantage to removing the existing vinyl? I'd rather do it the easiest way possible, but I also want it to look as good as possible.

I accidentally ordered glossy carbon fiber instead of matte, hopefully it's not too crazy looking!

Heard and noted. But I'll be in Cali for the week. Maybe I'll get a chance to meet up with a couple owners down there. But personal invite? Aww shucks!

That's a nice looking list. I want to get some of the Pentosin and Motul. I've heard only good things about them.

I might make the trek down there. We'll see what I have going on.

Well, you ARE from Bremerton, but we'll let you hang out anyway, despite that.

Yeah, I'm going to help Kohei do his in the next couple of days anyway, so I'll have some experience to help you out.
