You should be able to turn off CELs with ECUtek

Well, i can't wait till yall start with the V-band development!! Cuz most of us know, that the motor can take 500+whp right now, so i hope yall get to it soon... I have a plan on this setup if yall can integrate the V-band hehehehe but, good luck and keep the space available for a "Supra" sized turbo if you catch what im getting at lol

Well let's see if we can intercept a couple wires and turn the CEL and Traction control lights off in the future. They're just annoying to look at.

Now thats a different take on the turbo conversion for an 86 - very very nice

My only beef and a big one is the HOT AIR intake for the turbo charger, this adds a load of additional heat to the air charge meaning a lot more work for the intercooler and finally a higher exit temp from the intercooler. Get that sorted and you have a world beater right there!

If the fuel pressure drops a within a set limit it will correct the AF, if it drops past that it will turn the engine completely off as a safety precaution. It uses the oil pressure sensor the same way except once it hits a pressure drop we set, it just shuts the car off to save the engine, it dosent do anything past that. This is something you will never get with the stock ecu.It also has full time closed loop control via a wideband, and has the capability's of adding a flex fuel sensor which will allow you to pump 93 or ethanol any blend together at any mixture and it will automatically change AF/timing and boost based on this. The new Pro 112 box will be released soon and will work with the oem pickups and we will have a plug and play for this. That box will also have true traction control capability's which will monitor abs sensors and when it spins past the set limit will pull ignition timing to regain control of traction, this is how they control traction on pro drag cars. We will keep the community up to date with info as it comes out.

As for tuning, we are planning on releasing the kits with EcuTek.
Now I am confused. You are using the ProEFI for fuel and ignition control, but you are also tuning the car on ecutek? Sounds like a redundant extra cost.

will there be options to run meth injection in the future? I'm not planning on running this setup, but it does look well built

This particular vehicle we did a custom ProEFI setup. For production they will more than likely use the ECUtek but ProEFI is also releasing another option. In the end it will probably be broken down separately so each custom has options.

That was never said, it was stated that we used ProEFI to tune the test vehicle but are planning on shipping with EcuTek.

IATs were great even during road testing, our intercooler is barely even breaking a sweat. Remember our core is longer than most competitors tank exit to tank exit lengths and ours is 3.5" thick.

Yes I believe it would be relatively ok on the road, but what about in city stop start in hot conditions and then boot it hard, with not much airflow anywhere I dont really see where you are going to reject the heat to ...........

Give it continuous shots of high boost on and off at 40mph and I would like to see the IATs after a few mins of that

45 mins of Houston traffic combined with the way I drive will get you all of that and worse.

The conditions you have listed will make IATs go up on any of the kits on the market, this is simply due to the fact of low speed airflow across the IC with high temps coming out of the turbo due to the compression heat build up from the turbo heat soaking the IC, the only way to eliminate this is with a air to water heat exchanger or running a really large turbo where temps out of the compressor cover would be lower. With that being said we have tested our design and it works the way we have intended it to do.
