I've got OEM Toyota Mats.... and they're nice and flexible, but definitely not able to hold much water before it spills over....

this is most likely correct, unfortunately. hit the nail on the head imo.

The canadian rubber mats are pretty ghetto compared to the OEM rubber mats I had for my Versa, but, better to use those up before ruining the nice factory cloth mats!

I bought some heavy duty rubber floor mats from Costco and they worked really well. They fit perfectly in my RSX, so hopefully they'll fit the same way in my FRS (still waiting for the call...).

I don't remember the brand though, and it's not on the Costco website. Probably a seasonal thing, but I usually see them up here in Seattle.

Don't waste money on the Canadian rubber mats, for real. They are super lame.

The OEM GT86 ones listed above in Nigel JDM store look far superior. Not sure what the cost delta is but really, these canadian OEM rubber mats are shit.

Wouldn't hurt to know how much the Canadian mats sell for. I'm sure it will make it easier to justify getting the nice ones from Nigel

I won't argue much with that...they are pretty chintzy. Would I buy them? If I didn't have a lot of snow/slush to deal with, and they were inexpensive, I'd consider it. They came free with the car, and I will only use them if Weathertech doesn't have a set by winter. Winters here are long and snowy, and the OEM mats aren't gonna cut it.

I hope to see them before the first snow. Probably wouldn't hurt to have a few more people request them.

Guys, click the second link and ask them if they would make the Digital Fit Floor Liners for the FR-S. The more people request them, the quicker we will get them.
