I swapped the cluster to the GR model.
I have 2 issues: open door signals are swapped, if you open left door, display will show the right one.
This can be fixed swapping some wires in the BCM unit, but this will lead to headlight on chime triggered by right door.
The other issue is no TPMS anymore, it's active in diagnosys, but there's no warning light. This can be useful, indeed...

For anybody still looking to do this, but not wanting to spend the money on a full unit or deal with programming issues and stuff...

Full cluster overlay. Stock USDM unit. Speedo is in MPH only. LCD screen isn't split white/black like the real one, but otherwise, it's spot on. Cost was $200 from https://www.icefabrication.com

They have one on the site, but it isn't as accurate as this one, so I e-mailed him directly for the inquiry to have him create one as accurate as possible.

Figured some of you in here might find this to be a more attractive solution.

Both the GR and the STI are missing two critical pieces that distinguish them: the logos. Though I do like the GR version more.

Email directly and ask to have the logo added. They can be custom done.

Mine has the logo, as you can see.

Hi. Have you solved this problem? I wonder if there are any methods other than swapping wires on BCM unit.

Nope, I decided I prefer the headlight chime to be on the correct door. Or you have to send your cluster to Gerald for software tuning.
Or you have to buy a LHD tS cluster and swap the dials for Km/h and sell the remaining Franken in UK.
