You missed the joke.

No one in their right mind would use an impact gun to remove spark pulgs.
The aftermath I saw was two completely removed spark plugs with the threads intact from the head. One broke in half, the other some how was lucky it came out normally. This was a dude working on a 240. Previous Honda owner.

IMHO ........ most people would be better off, when working on automobiles, to keep the damn impact (power) tools, used for fasteners, away from the car ..........

I agree for the most part, but used wisely (like on decades old chassis bolts and such) it can make what would be drudgery into an absolute joy. Now, people who use impacts to tighten anything on the other hand...

Yep, I noticed that ...... I just chalked it up to a "senior moment" for ol Ultramaroon .......

However, I reckon ol @Tcoat deemed it was a "brain fart" and wasn't gonna let it slide ......

As the others have said, although I typically do "snug" then another 1/4-1/2 turn.
