Should be "Subject to finace with Bank West only". that way they can't get you to finance anywhere else. You also can't use a "subject to finance" if you have not attempted to apply for it. It won't stick. you have to have 3 attempts before its void. |

* LOL If it's not needed (or wanted) you wouldn't mind if the dealer took them away again then? Yes? Sorry to sound like a typical car sales smartarse but it feels different when you're the one who actually has to pay for these things and people take them for granted when they're given in good faith. By the way, the paint/rust protection does actually work if it's applied correctly AND you maintain the paint protection by using the right type of car wash with it and not one that would strip it off - then it would really be pointless. I've seen cars with and without it after a period of time (7 years in case you wanted to know), if you keep it clean with the right solution the paint should age far less. By the way, what type of Rust Protection are you getting? The Solution type or the Electric Type? <------ Not takin' the piss' there really is more than one type of rust protection these days. Whilst I'm on the subject of rust protection, did you guys know that none of the manufacturers cover rust after you take delivery? They cover manufacturers faults with the body/panels but not rust unless it can be proven that it is a manufacturers defect/fault in the particular body part or panel that has rusted. Something like a manufacturers defect would be an extra hole in a panel or a rip or crease - not because you went to the beach a few times a year for a few years and left the car in the salty wind all day then didn't bother to wash it properly. Kinda makes you think twice about the "useless" aftermarket bits hey? Regarding aftermarket tint by the way, it does actually have a few more uses other than making the car look good - a prime example is the fact that all Toyota factory standard glass is 70% U.V. resistant. When aftermarket tint is fitted to the vehicle (reasonable quality stuff i mean not cheap crap) the glass' U.V. resistance goes up to 99%. This might not mean much at first but when you think about it, less U.V. rays coming into the car while you're in it isn't just good for kids. You also gain the benefit of reduced glare when you drive, not to mention the cooling aspect, which in turn helps your air conditioner not only maintain temperature but it also helps cool the car faster on hot days - less work for the air con', less fuel used, money in your pocket - might only be a little bit but every bit counts right? And the best bit is...........you don't have to pay for it because your dealer is looking after you. Still useless and unneeded? Last edited by newft86; 06-14-2012 at 12:08 PM. |
