Constant. The problem is not going to resolve itself as the wire is all chewed up.

It seems im having the same problem, when I start the car there are no problems the second I touch the brakes both the ABS and traction light come on. Im trying to figure out the issue it seems electrical as this only happens when i put my foot on the brake.

I'm pretty sure it's a loose cable this link might be helpful: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=24246
If that doesn't work out try unplugging the battery's cable for a few minutes then hook it back. Start the car without moving for another minute at least. Let's see if that works

Hello, I just want to ask what is the main cause of this issue and the fix. The first time I went to the Toyota dealership, they fixed it and they said it was a fuse that popped. The 2nd time it came on they said it was the wiring from the 4th brakelight I added and had to pay $55 for the diagnose it. Still did not fix the issue. Anything I should look into?

I gave up on mine ... since i put stickier tires on the car i found the traction and VSC to bug out Every turn i took .. so i just hold down the traction off until both lights turn on .. now i don't have to worry about the stupid thing
now i just keep my speeds in control .. my only concern is when its wet (which i leave on)
