If you like doing things yourself, I'd go a different route. I find it very therapeutic.

For the cost of opticoating your car.. you could buy a buffer, polish your car, and use Optimum Gloss-Coat. I've had great results with gloss coat, even though it's not permanent (2 years). It's as easy as cleaning your countertops.

I figure you will appreciate the results much more, and you get a buffer to fix any problems. Unless you have no time to work on your car... and then you're not a car guy anyway

Thanks, i have a friend that has a buffer, i might just do that and get the opticoat and do it myself. This will save me lots of money.

I just want to be sure to protect the paint from my car. It will be my daily driver, and i have 60 mile round trip to work during week days.

Careful with the buffer if you're not familiar with it.
Back in the 70s a friend wanted to polish up his 65 Riviera.
Buffed the paint right off along one of the raised lines on the hood.

There's a huge difference between a rotary polisher and a dual-action polisher. You can easily screw up with a rotary and burn through the paint, you can't with a dual-action (within reason).

That's why I did my entire front end (bumper, fenders, hood). This is my 3rd winter with the BRZ and I do a lot of highway driving and the front end still looks practically new.
