They are still the same as when I bolted them on the car! I also live in sunny California so they hardly even see rain so no weather deterioration. If I cleaned them up they would still look brand new. I've gotten my moneys worth out of them for sure!

As far as the "model" definition goes, I read that as the parts are legal across all the model variants if they are legal for one (although they are talking about variants within one manufacturer's lineup). The problem is I have an FR-S and I do not believe Scion/Toyota sells a front splitter in the accessories catalog. There may be a TRD part, but that is the performance catalog. Since the FR-S and BRZ front fascia are different they are not interchangeable. Does anyone see this differently? And more importantly does anyone know of a front splitter U.S. accessory from Scion Toyota? If they have one you could then buy any comparable splitter from aftermarket suppliers.

I was struggling like crazy for rear grip this weekend. I'm always fighting oversteer at this particular venue.
I have RCE Tarmac 2's and a Whiteline 22mm front bar on the stiff setting. Stock rear bar. Would I be nuts to go to the soft setting on the front bar and ditch the rear all together? I've tried multiple settings with rebound/compression but even with the rear rebound 2 clicks from full soft she still gets tail happy.

I don't think anyone would consider it nuts if it made the car hook up more. Chances are, people would be wondering what you did. I did this on my VW GTI as well (on the rear bar). I had a vastly stiffer rear bar than stock, but still stock up front for G-Street. I had to run the softest setting possible to keep the car from drifting. The soft setting is still more stiff than stock, so it is still an improvement. Another option (for ST_ anyway) is to put a matching rear bar on your car. It just depends how tied together you want the left and right sides of your car.

Yes alignment and rake are important!
Also, where is the oversteer occuring? Entry, exit, mid-corner? - Andy |

2 degrees rear camber. 3.3 degrees front camber. Rake was almost .5" higher in the rear but I've since fixed that.

Try giving it up more prior to the elements and concentrating on late apexing everything. That fixed my early corner push problems and is usually a much faster line as well.
