Yeah I heard its a similar engine to the one currently in the 2015 Subaru WRX. We should definitely wait for that

Wondering if the larger bolt thing will be kind of like the Spoon subframe rigid collar kit. Or have the same effect..
I hope that if there is suspension mods (besides shocks) they are backwards compatible with 2013/14.

CVT is meh, very CVT like which I kinda dislike but it's a ton better than other CVTs i've driven before it. 3. uninspiring driving experience (at least to me) Other than that, there are pretty good points too, like the comfort and practicality. It's really your choice on where you need to go and what you need at the moment. If you have any questions about the accord though, you can ask me ;3 I was on the accord forums for a while but it's rather dull and dead compared to here.

i hope they release those sachs shocks as standard on all the new cars. stock suspenion goes for dirt cheap over here and ill have my self a very cheap upgrade.

yeah, I'll be honest, you can get the V6 for fairly cheap. The resale value of the cars dropped like crazy after a year so you could work up a deal pretty easily. You'll have the power on the car but it wont feel as much fun as the FRS/BRZ that's for sure. Do you have a family?

Sorry for the crosspost but I should of posted this here first;
I am buying a car next year and the FR-S is top of my list. I intensely research when i purchase and will continue to. Anyway I don't know about the legitimacy of this site but this is the second site I have seen saying that there will be 18" Aluminum/Carbon Fiber wheels on the GT86. http://www.newcarsrelease2015.com/20...ta-gt86-coupe/ I know the FR-S usually shares most major componants with just comfort items being the difference. But I believe that the wheels have been the same since 2012 in European to America models of GT86, BRZ, and FR-S if I'm not mistaken. Also it states dual exhaust tips in place of the single and shock dampening and steering box or EPS assist change for sharper steering. Quote's from Toyota 86’s chief engineer, Tetsuya Tada, "The updated 2015 model 86 will have crisper steering response and less body roll thanks to the damper tweaks, and the fact that the rear dampers are now directly attached to the body, improving dynamic control". “GT86 is all about driver involvement, and we are committed to keep enhancing this aspect of the car,” said Tada of the rear-wheel drive car, which reignited interest in affordable sports cars (and Toyota design) when it arrived in Australia in June 2012. “We decided to change the way how suspension parts - including the rear shock absorbers - are attached to the chassis. This increases body rigidity, hence adds to better handling stability and response,” said Tada. “Shock absorbers were also retuned. We used a new technology for stabilising damping force, and we improved friction control and responsiveness,” he added. The car now gives the driver “that extra bit of control, especially when the car is driven on the limit,” said Tada, who also confirmed a handful of “subtle” cosmetic changes will distinguish the 2015 models from their progenitors". Dunno, only driven an FR-S once. But my friend that has one would be able to tell you if thats a good thing or not. I like that customer feedback seems to have prompted changes that could be a benefit for driver and more fun to drive. Depending on your perspective of course.
