Would a square setup of 18x9.5 +40 fit on stock suspension?

No, not enough clearance with the spring perches. You need coilovers, or possibly spacers, but then you'd probably run into rubbing issues with the fender and require extreme camber. I'd definitely go with coilovers.

Not convinced it won't fit. I belive there are some ppl in the fitment thread that are making it work.

I have the same exact wheel setup on order, and did a LOT of research before pulling the trigger because I was worried about rubbing even with coilovers. I guarantee it won't fit properly on a completely stock suspension. With spacers, maybe, but it will still likely be a rubbing nightmare.
