Surely he would like to know how much of an improvement the header is alone?

Forgive me if I am reading the graph wrong. But what is going on at 4k RPMs on the JDL header? The power seems to drop quite a bit, then comes back up.

It's not dipping, just a sensory breakup on my end on the dyno with the tach pickup...

I have a JDL unequal and love it, sounds great and with my Drift-Office tune its really good down low and up top, big difference in the low end. I have a build thread with dyno graphs i will be updateing when Bob and I figure out what fuel my car likes because we know it doesnt like the pump gas from around my place. hoping to get 190 + when dialed in It is tuff doing it from a distance(e-tune) who knows maybe Bob would be coming up to the promise land (canada) for a tuning session :P BTW Drift-Office is fast at shipping out it took literally hours to get out the door , cheers to productive workplaces !

The Borlas use small runners and have good torque at low RPM. From there though they are restricted by both the small runners and the poor quality of their collectors.

Borla UEL collector

JDL collector

That's not how all JDL collectors look. Mine looks like this:

And to be fair isn't that JDL holding the collector? Which pretty much guarantees that is the the best collector they've ever made vs. probably the worst borla collector ever from early production models?

I am curious to see how the JDL v3 EL performs versus Nameless. That's a battle I am sure most have been waiting to see.
That's only if you consider peak horsepower mostly above 6,000 rpm. If we're talking about which header delivers more power in normal daily driving mode i think the Borla makes a pretty compelling product especially considering the price point.

I would love to see the Open Flash Header included in the comparison as it is clearly the ultra-value competitor. Also a bit curious why they didn't choose to use any strain relief? Still scratching my head on that - would love to hear the reason why it's not needed?
