I have the STI springs on order... I don't really have a use for coil overs for what this car is for to justify the cost of quality ones...

I ordered a bunch of other STI parts... figured Id order the springs to stay with OEM. They only lower the car about .6 - .7" too, so it isn't that big of a drop, which I do not want.
Were you just curious or do you have a reason not to?

Nice!! Thanks for the photos!
Looks really good. Performance-wise, did it feel heavier than the stock? Made much of a diff? Planning on getting the same set up. Thanks.Quote:

Hi, I was planning on this exact setup. No lowering either, just the rims & tires. Do you have any regrets or rubbing issues? Thanks! |

You won't have any issues with that setup, especially at stock ride height.

There's no fittment issues at all with this setup. I'd just suggest you so symetrical because before I got my coilovers I was getting some understeer which is annoying as hell.

18x8.5 in the front
Wheels are 18x8.5, tires are 225/40 pilot sports, and the setup seems to be making the occasional rubbing or clicking noise in the front... Other than that, car drives great...
Question is, will this or could this be problematic in any way long term with stock suspension? Thanks! Jonny |

Sure you're rubbing??? Have you identified points that prove so? That size with all details you've provided should be no where near rub not even close. You got something else going on. Jack it up turn wheels both ways and look around... Go from there..
