Question. Would the WMI kit also allow you to run at the lower boost levels EVEN SAFER on the stock block or is there no real point in having it at the 6-10 psi range??

You can have a higher amount of safety using water / meth kit at 6 to 10 psi. But always tune for it and have fail safes in place. I have not had to deal with many failures over the years but have seen a few.

Due to the very high compression ratio of this engine, trying to achieve the ideal ignition timing (MBT) is often tricky. We are often forced to run timing based on knock limitation rather than full optimum timing. At 8-10 psi, we would definitely be able to run more timing and make more power with WMI in place. That's not to say that we can't run 8-10 psi without WMI, it's just that we will not be able to achieve MBT.

If you were to run WMI, you'd probably want to run at least 10-12psi though, if not a little more, just to get your money's worth.

We have not, but we'd expect numbers that are not too far off from the 93 tune, especially at 6 psi. We'll get around to this once we get our shop test car back together.
