I manage to stop by their office a few weeks back while I was in china and it wasn't easy to find them as there was no train stations nearby. Took my mates and I about 1.5hours by taxi to get there..
The operation is ran by 2 ladies and this one guy who appears to be one of / or the only welder there. After speaking to them, they told me that they sell quite a fair bit of exhaust and other items as well such as strut bars and stuff made out of Titanium materials which she showed us one of their TRD replica from the jza80 .. very nice My intention of the visit was to check the quality of the exhaust first hand and so they brought one out for me to take a look at. I guess you do get what you pay for and well not the best welds but it isn't that bad either. There is one concern however and I couldn't get any pics of it as my iphone failed me with its battery life but it was the welds inside the pipes??? I'm no welder but I thought that welding pipes only effects the outside of the pipes but here I was looking at the blobs of welds all around the inside of the weld areas from the outside which may effect the flow/power loss? due to positive turbulence? (my assumption of lost of power and im no engineer so don't quote me) They also had a weight scale their and it came in at 5.3kgs without the tips for those who are interested and can fit into a medium sized suitcase ![]() I was also told that I can get my name stamped onto the tips or exhaust if I wanted to at an extra cost and then went on to tell me that many of their clients do this to brand their exhaust which you would of known by now that ISIS, Zero-R sports and another ebay company in aus all have identical mufflers in the same materials ... I also asked about the Ti Grade and they use Gr2 and offer 3 types of finishes (the one you see in the pic is the heat treated coated finish, polish finish, and raw finish) From memory, companies like Amuse and Tracy sports who also make Ti exhaust, they use Nippon steel to get their materials and make them locally. J's racing is one of those companies where I'm not too sure on where they make their exhaust from but word is that its made in china but the welds are pretty damn good! (i had their fx60rs and the fx70rs and never had issues with anything ) These Companies use Gr5 or 6 from what I hear (again, don't shoot me if i'm wrong lol) so I'm not sure if grade of ti has a big effect as well.
