After my last post I got to thinking, is there a reason why the hoses are going just one direction off the manifold? I see that the radiator supplied has inlets and outlets on one side, but it just seems like running tubing equally off both sides would give a better look if the radiator could also be setup dual sided vs single sided.

And does anyone know if there are plans to CARB legal this kit? Is there an install PDF yet?

Hmm this will make it hard to decide between the Edlebrock and their kit

No one has done a side by side to determine the best kit yet. I'm still hoping that it happens.

I just wish that some of the mainstream suppliers would start importing this kit.

I think for anyone going CARB the goals are for legal reasonable streetable gains, and both deliver so it may come down to fit n finish. While the Edlebrock kit seems like a better package in presentation with its clean setup and large intake filter, this kit sits lower so that means the hood liner doesnt need to be removed and it appears that strut braces will fit over the engine. The tighter engine look is definitely a sweet package if a cover or rerouting can be done for the water I would be sold.

If you're going to only run the CARB tune I think you better also heavily weight looking at the quality of the tunes too since they actually determine how well the car will drive. This is something I thought would be a non-issue, however I'm finding tuning the 86 is not a well acquired skill by very many people.

Ya a CARB complaint tune is going to be conservative and may make power delivery more fuel efficient. Can anyone chime in on comparing the different CARB kits?

I'd also factor in customer service/tech support, not saying that Harrop doesn't have good support, I'm sure they do, but it's nice to have a company with a direct line and on the same time zone (since I'm in CA).

I hope to do a side by side eventually as it looks like I may be the 1st in the UK with an E-Force kit and my tuner is already running the Harrop on the shop 86.

I have the opposite situation, seeing as Harrop's factory and garage is 30 minutes from my house.

I was waiting to see how they got around the emissions situation as Australia is just about as anal as California.

Pretty sure Moto-East has a kit or two for sale.
