Stuck Koni adjuster

On one of my rear Koni sports, I can't turn the adjuster. I installed them 2 months ago and haven't touched the rears since, but today I was messing with the fronts and decided to verify that the rears were still set the way I wanted them. The most common cause of this is bottoming out the shock, but my car is at stock height on stock springs and bumpstops. Koni is sending me another shock so I can replace this one, but I don't think bottoming will be covered under warranty in any way if that's what caused it. My concern is that this could happen again.

Anyone had an issue with this on these cars?

Thanks,
Mike

If it was working after initial install, it can happen if you run full hard or full soft. Common preventive practice is to back off a hair (1/32", 1/16") from both full hard or full soft.

Yep. I've run Konis for many years, and I've always practiced that method, so it's not that. The Koni tech confirmed that bottoming tends to be the leading cause, but I hope that wasn't the case here with stock springs.

Thanks for the link. I had actually read through that, and I contacted Lee to find out what can be done. I guess we'll see.
