I'm waiting until the snow is gone personally, whenever that may be...but it's really your preference

I wait for the salt to be washed off the roads. We still have 3-4 feet of snow, so that won't be for a while.

Just bought the car last March; had it on the road by the end of March because I was so anxious to drive it even though there was still a bit of snow on the ground

April 1 every year. Considering temperatures for summer tires and easier to start insurance coverage at first of month.

I am waiting for avg temp to hit ~+5 and most of the salt to be washed off. At this rate I figure it will be mid to late April.

If you're on pure summer tires, I'd wait for April at the earliest. I wait for temps to be above +10 before putting on my summers if I can help it.

That is my plan. The snows stay on until we get some consistent temps around 8 to 10 degrees.

Same here. Day time temps around 10 degrees with lows above freezing. Then I can switch over from my winters. No point in rushing it, although I know you guys who are storing your car are probably itching!!
