Dilemma of choosing wheels : /
Having a dilemma of choosing my wheels so i thought to myself why not ask my friendly neighbours on FT86 forums.
I currently sold a set of BBS LM rebarreled to 17 x 8/9 35+ and was planning to go get a set of work meister m1 3p in 18 x 8.5/9.5 32+ but then my friend has to go blabbering and tell me to get a set of ce28 ;/ now im not sure what i want . . the ce28 would be nice for trackdays/performance but i dont track or autocross very often (once or twice a year) but i love the m1 for the bbs lm look but in 18s that i always wished for. . . tracked my self a set of 17 ce28rt in 17x8.5 44+ with federals 595 rsr both same price except the meister have no tyres and i know the meisters are 8lb heaviers too and comes with no tyres(tires) . . but my mum told me to always get what you like the most ;/ What would you do in my situation? would you think logically or emotionally? Cheers guys Last edited by manonastick; 12-18-2014 at 04:06 AM. |

The CE28S are awesome track wheels and very light, but rather expensive for something you'll be doing very little of, and don't look all that eye-catching tbh. |

Personally, I'm not into CE28s.. They look cheap to me.
BBS LMs are cool but I'm kinda so-so on mesh style wheels for this car. Meisters look killer on this car but a million people already have them. Just go with whatever YOU would like to walk out and see in the driveway/garage every morning.

I agree, get what you want for what you do the most.
If you want to make a concession to performance, keep it a square setup. Staggered on this car adds unneeded understeer. |
