So has anyone actually done this? The manual is pretty...unclear. For example, dash removal instructions start like this. How am I even supposed to get to those screws? Last I checked, my hands can't pass through solid matter.

I'm convinced when designing the lower dash trim they set out to make it as big as a pain in the ass as they could to remove. They did a fantastic job if so.
The "glove compartment retainer" has a screw with a head facing the engine. In order to access it, you need to get under the dash. Unfortunately, you have about 4.5" of room to maneuver a screwdriver in there, and the screw is too tight to get off with so little room. No biggy, right angle screw driver! Not so fast...they decided to recess the screw about 3" into the plastic, so none of my right angle screw drivers are even close to being long enough.

Did you ever figure this out, Gen? I'm looking to take my dash out to flock it but got to a point where i didn't see anything else to remove and it was still rock solid.
