What oil cooler kits do you have installed alongside your JR supercharger?

I am looking at the Mishimoto kit with the thermostat but I want to make sure that it will install fine alongside the JR kit. What are you guys running with your JR kits?

why don't you get the jr oil cooler. It comes with a mounting bracket to move your jr s/c cooler and is specifically made for your setup

As silly as it sounds, I like that the mishimoto kit has an oil catch and that is the only thing that makes me want it.

But the jr oil cooler and jr s/c relocation bracket is even cooler. That and setrabs are nice.

What's the point of the oil catch? Never gotten a drop in mine.

I would really, strongly recommend getting Jackson's Kit. The mounting system they came up with is very simple and just very clean, but most importantly, functional.

The JR OC is the one you want. Not only is it designed to work in tandem with the Rotrex oil cooler, it's also larger than most cores included in other oil cooler setups.

@CSG Mike since im sure youve tested a few do you know some popular oc core btus? Perrins looks small and what do you think about the popular 19 row mishimoto? The setrab jr oc is probably the largest by volume. Either way the jrs mounting option makes it a win for the op.

Most are not published, but the JSetrab in the Jackson Racing kit has a published range of 27,000-39,000 BTU. In this application, it'll comfortably dissipate 34,000 BTU, even sandwiched between the FMIC and AC Condenser.

What's your thoughts on sandwich vs sticking it behind the foglight area and cutting all that out. I'm building my own right now and may try making a cf duct.

Once the air goes in through the fog light opening, and through the oil cooler, where does it exit out of?

Yup been thinking about that too. Cars at the body shop for paint so I can only imagine ideas and look at pictures online for a solution until I pick it up.
