Electronic Control Module for acceleration concerns

Dropped my car yesterday for DCM recall. Asked them to check if there is any infotainment update as I never got any till date. Got this message.

Quote:
There were no updates for the head unit but one for the Electronic Control Module for acceleration concerns, so this has been performed upon your request. Vehicle is now completed with service and ready for pick up until 3:30pm today. Thanks!
Never heard of this. It's 2023 BRZ limited with manual.

The WRB23 or whatever? I saw something on reddit that it's about removing 3G support from Starlink? But who knows, maybe someone who works at a dealer will chime in.

No difference I can feel. I lost the receipt but dealer added that I complained about hesitant acceleration so they did the update. I guess helps them get reimbursed from Subaru.
