BRZ engine compression 13.5:1 or 12.5:1?

In a sea of misinformation, it is hard to keep track. For a while subaru.com had the BRZ compression ratio at 13.5:1. Subaru Canada now says 12.5:1. AFAIK the GR86 was always stated as 12.5:1. It seems unlikely (i.e. costly) that they would make the compression different on the twins. Does anyone have the final word on this?

Click on the "2022 Subaru BRZ Specifications.pdf" link on the right. It's 12.5:1.

13.5:1 was allegedly a typo that they didn't catch until after journalists and forums started discussing it. It's funny to see the wrong information still being spread across the internet about the CR by people who were lazy to re-check. Shame on the journalists who still do it...
