ARP wheel studs 1.95 UHL?
Has anyone installed these ARP wheel studs? I know I don't want the extended ones because I'm not running a spacer; so was thinking the stock length ARP stud then I noticed they have this 3rd option that switches thread from 12x1.25 to 12x1.5 and they are just slightly longer than stock. They will be paired with 949 racing lugnuts. So which should I get stock length with 12x1.25 thread or the slightly longer 1.95 UHL ones with 12x1.5 thread?

Why bother getting the slightly longer ones? 0.2" is 5mm, so if you don't need the extra length you'd be fine with the stock length ones.
It's interesting that there's at least 4 options for our cars now... the original ones were these ones: https://arp-bolts.com/kits/arpkit-de...hp?RecordID=76 and aren't even listed under the FRS anymore. I wonder if the slightly shorter ones that are listed now (100-7729) are short enough to be pulled into the rear hubs without removing it from the car. The 3" ones definitely won't go in, but maybe 0.5" less makes it fit.

Noticed they now have 1.95UHL studs in 12x1.25. The only difference appears to be that the 1.95's have a 0.2 cone on top to help cross threading issues vs the standard 1.75 ARP replacement ones.
Can anyone confirm if the 1.95 ones will slide in the back without removing the hub like you need to do for typical extended studs that are 2.5 inches+?

As referenced via link posted above you can install 2.5" studs on the rear hubs without removing them. 1.95" are the longest as a straight install.
I used a Dremel to cut off the nipple at the end and was able to wiggle them in by rotating the hub and angle them in. |
