Sway Bars for Track
This is out of my norm first of all.
I have upgraded most of my suspension already but I have been holding off on doing my sway bars. I am building a track so I wanted what (mm) would be best ![]() I know every driver has their preference but this is something I do not know much about. |

Don't replace parts for the sake of replacing parts. It's a waste of time and money.

If you don't know exactly what you want, get adjustable ARB's, so you can tune the car to your liking.

Well, I could see putting a larger sway bar in the front... Reduce that 2013 FRS power-on oversteer. Or a thinner one in the rear.

A local norcal shop is testing one right now. Well it's still 14mm but adjustable. Stiffest is stock and it only gets softer. Saw it when I stopped by the other day.

They aren't a vendor on the forum, so be sure to follow the local Facebook group for product release since that's where they will blast it out once ready.

There is no "best". But the 13-16 cars all understeer (shocker!) in stock form, so a stiffer rear sway bar like the adjustable Eibach works well to take away rear grip and help the car rotate.
Downsides are a slightly harsher ride and less forgiving handling during transitions at very high speed. But if you have to ask, then you shouldn't be looking at sway bars. Just keep driving and figure out what you want to improve or fix exactly. |
