Fix It Ticket for Window Tint

Just bought the car a few weeks ago. I don't even have my plates yet and Irvine Police Officer pulls me over for just Tint. Anyone have any connections to get this signed off without removing the tint? Would be much appreciated as I just put it on a week ago.

what % tint do you have? if you have like 15% all around and the cops in your area are strict on tint violations, then it won't matter if you find someone to write it off since they will just pull you over for it again.

20% all around put on a week ago. I'm just shocked I got pulled over today when it's a brand new car with no plates. Also plenty of cops haven't hassled me about it. Bad luck

I think looking for a cheap tint spot might be better to have handy lol
Idk i have the darkest tint, put it on the second day i had the car lol
We have to be on our toes. Always. rain or shine... lol had cops look at me crazy during the rain, but no no no ur not getting me for my tint , turned smiled with water coming in nd all lolololol soon as they turned the corner *bzzzz*(windows sound effect) upppp they go lololol
Couple months ago a motorcycle (since theyre ninja silent) ended up behind me! didnt see him till the light changed .. but idk thankfully ive been ok with cops lolol got a warning for my tint being "a taaaad too dark" 😁😁😁 😎

I was the same way with my previous car, but I assumed since this was brand new car that still had the dealership plates I was safe.

window tint is also a good excuse to pull people over to check up on other things. I had been driving back to my house at 2 AM and was pulled over by CHP for window tint, but the first question that I was asked was where I was coming from and if I had anything to drink along with some other questions (I think he believed I was drinking and street racing). only after asking what I was pulled over for did he mention my tint, and at that point he already checked all my details and let me go without a warning or ticket.

I once went to a CHP to have a fix it ticket signed off on my old car. They didn't even check and just signed it. Is this still the case?
