194 LED switchback - side marker
Took a while for me to find this bulb and now that I have, the seller states that it may not be plug and play. Has anyone here had issues at all with installing these in our side markers? Are additional steps needed in order for this to work with our cars or are we lucky and just pop the bulb in and smile at the results?

Not the front turn signal. This is for the actual side marker bulb size 194. Our front turn signal/fog light is a 7443 I believe.

![]() Seeing as I would probably end up breaking everything I won't attempt to do this. However if you or anyone else with the proper knowledge to make it work want to try, here's a link to the bulb. http://www.superlumination.com/switchback.html It's a little more than halfway down the page. Anyone attempting to do this it would be awesome if you could do a write up on how to wire it to work in conjunction with our front turn signals. |

These are the bulbs I found.
http://www.flyryde.com/product/194-S...px#description It appears that the bulbs in both of our links require an additional controller. Neither of them are actually three wire. They work by polarity reversal with two wires. The ones in the link I posted come with the controller/module. The bulbs in my link are probably a lot nicer. If I had the extra cash on hand and clear side marker lenses, I would be so down to do this. But you see I don't have extra cash on hand, nor do I have clear side marker lenses yet, so this would be almost pointless for me.

why would you want switchbacks in the side markers? do you plan on making them turn signals?

Yeah I guess, except why would you want to do that?

Aside form the obvious "I have to tap a wire", is there a reason why you wouldn't? The way I see it, someone has to make up for the assholes that don't signal.

I didn't use them, but I did use 194 switchbacks and You have to make a relay to use them. I have done so and it was not as fun as I thought but they turned out really cool. They will NOT plug in play at all. Those are a little different and looks like they did some of the wiring for you.
I have taken several videos of mine. I will post one when I get a chance. |

If I added a relay to the line, the side blinkers would go
