retain factory aux port

out of the factory usb and aux port there is two cables that come out of it one for usb and the other for aux




but in order to convert that cable to a standard aux cable can you just cut and solder the 5 pin servo cable to an aux cable? would anyone know what wires colour wires solder to what? its kindof like what the guy did with an aux cable here:

however his cable only has three cables and they are different colours

Yes, it is possible. I did that on my BRZ. Just cannot tell exact wire colours, I recall some of them are even not used. It would be best to get multi-meter and check which pins connects where.
