FR-S strut.

Hi I was wondering if anyone on here had a great extra strut they didn't mind getting rid of. If you do please let me know and how much you'd like to get for it.

Thank you

Good luck finding one. Everyone I contacted (at least 6 different people on these forums), didn't want to split up their set. I ended up paying $100 for a single strut on eBay...had about 800miles on it.

Which one do you need? Front right or front left?

Check with your local dealer. They should be able to get one within a week or so for a good price still.

Any reason you guys are swapping the stock struts for stock struts already? They break easily or something?

Well mine was i think about to break anyways cause when i took off the spring, the valve was spinning like crazy in the shaft when i impacted wrenched it so i think me taking off the spring finished the job with that strut. I dont know how it was already a bad strut when there is only about 8k on the car. I noticed something was wrong after installing cause i heard a thud noise only in the back driver side and i knew right away what is was. Valve either gets stuck within mid stroke or has a leak within it.

The only reason I put an OEM strut back on my car, was to give me a little extra time to decide what I wanted to do (suspension wise). I'm holding out to see what Koni comes out with. I'll then replace my OEM crap, with a good set of coil overs...or Konis.

It's just over $200 for an OEM strut from the dealer. I checked, before I found the used one on eBay.

Koni is doing a top adjust front and rear. The front is going to be an insert (Cut n' Gut) and rear shock. They are not releasing a complete stock replacement as of yet.
