Dyancorn needs to stop!

OK, they are killing me here! I got to have all these, I mean it was bad enough that Dyancorn has released new, factory approved body shells for the '67 Camaro Convertible and Coupe:

and the 65-66 Mustang Convertible

but now they've released one for the Ford Bronco!

Geez, I need a raise.

Should see a lot of used Bronco shells on the market soon then.

How come we can't buy eg/crx/fcrx7/e30/e36/s13/miata shells but we can buy this useless barge?

edit: 15 K for a shell? damn.

Well, it was new news to me, but still found it interesting. If I ever finish the airplane I'm building, I may have to build one of these to tow it to the airport.

I'd hardly call this a "useless barge". It can be built to be a highly functional vehicle for both on and off-road purposes.

$15k does sound like much, but where else are you going to get an exact OEM-spec shell?

I never said it wasn't interesting, just old news. Building up one of these is one of my top 10 dream builds.

Craigslist :P well that and other forums.

Sure it could handle well. After lots of $$ and custom fab.

My question is why no one tapped into the "spec" racing market by developing oem chassis for s13s, miatas and such... they're getting harder to find without rust.

I don't know about you, but I've never seen a brand-new, OEM-spec 1st Gen Bronco chassis offered on Craigslist or any other forum.

Ford did offer a Mustang body-in-white chassis specifically aimed for drag and track enthusiasts.

Who said brand new? You said OEM spec lol. You can buy refurbished shells already seam welded, caged and painted for a small fraction of that asking price.

Like that.

Sorry for assuming that we were talking about products identical to the ones produced by Dynacorn...
