Do you have a good aluminum welder you trust to fix it?

I think it was just a rock that might have hit it... :/ too many people touched my car could Also be the cause of that..
King tut I do have friend that is a very good welder . If I hve to get a new intercooler he will be making the new pipes for me and I could also fix the fa20club MAF by moving it down more with the new pipes

I had a hole in my intercooler on my last car from hitting a deer or a stick or something. It was where one of the veins joined the side tank.

I scuffed the area up with emery paper and fixed the hole with JB-Weld.

Not sure how big your hole is, but this worked fine for me.

Also, it should be no problem for any good welder to fix.

Post a pic. You can solder aluminum with a torch and $10 worth of rod from harbor freight

Ask yourself; what would Tony do?

Answer, continue with build and turn up boost to negate sluggish feeling. Because that'll fix all your problems!

New intercooler though. Dont wanna have a weld spot where it might burst again.

Was it pitting because of corrosion in the endtanks?

I've seen a local FA20club kit (mind you there is not salt/snow here), that the endtanks are really badly corroded because of the cheap steel used for them.
