Can you remove hairlines from opticoat?

I was told that you couldn't. If you didn't guess, yep, I made mistakes washing my car and it irritates me to no end. I almost want to spend the money to remove and recoat, but from far away you can't really tell and it's about to become Christmas shopping season so I really shouldn't.

If it's a single panel, it might not cost that much to remove, which a polish will do, and recoat that panel. If it's not too bad, I would just live with it for now until you feel like the car needs another full detail and recoat.

You can try to buff it out, then do a water test to see if it's still sheeting like it should. That would indicate that there is still some OC on there. If it's been less than 30 days since the OC was applied, you can buff and reapply OC and it will bond to the previously applied OC. Otherwise, you'll probably have to do the entire panel over again.
