Replacing double-sided tape on TRD parts - Toyota GR86, 86, FR-S and Subaru BRZ Forum & Owners Community

I have the full TRD JDM bodykit, but I'd need to replace double-sided tape on a part, what do you suggest?
Stock tape seems to be soft, thick, and very adesive...

3M has emblem tape they also have exterior double sided clear and gray.

3M VHB. It comes in different widths and thickness. Good luck deciding exactly what you need. I bought this to redo the body kit on mine. So far only put the rear spoiler back on but it's solid, even if I pull on it a lil it's not moving. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

This was genuine 3M product on 3M rolls. Some are selling knock off stuff that according to reviews doesn't work as well.

yep. i only buy from local physical retail stores(anywhere with a hardware section from walmart to home depot stocks it), as it seems half the places online are selling knockoff versions that don't stick to itself in the best of cases.
