Rubbing on OEM suspension and OEM tires
Hello, I am having issues with rubbing when I turn my steering wheel full lock to the right only. I am on OEM TS struts/springs (on a 2013 brz though) and oem tire size. I bought the car used with coilovers and thought they were rubbing because of how low it was, but after switching to this setup it still rubs. I switched it on Thursday and honestly don't think i rubbed until today...
My wheels are aftermarket, but I have no idea what the exact measurements are for them. They definitely have a low offset though, as you can see in the pics. Would this offset cause rubbing?! I am lost on this, thanks ![]()

lol, of course it's causing the rubbing.
Looks like it's sticking out 5mm past the fender, could be angle.

Most wheels should have stickers or even pressed on numbers of sizing, including offset, on them. If those are really OEM tires, then judging by stretch extent, and how much spaced out, wheels are noticeably wider and of lesser offset.
Where exactly it rubs? Do you see where rubbing marks are? Fender? Then i guess some extra camber may help. Imho less probable wheel width so wide to rub on suspension arm/arch liner, as on that wide, by 2-3" wider wheels, not sure you'd be able to mount OE sized tires on. |

Somewhere between offset and width is your problem. It's 100% the wheels.
Also, that is quite a lot of stretch for the stock wheels. I'm guessing 9" width? I would definitely get narrower wheels or wider tires just because of that. |
