Engine Heat
I have a turbo BRZ and whenever I have the AC on the engine bay gets hot and starts to fog up my windshield from the inside. I i defrost it by using heat because cold air makes it fog even faster. Any ideas what it could be?

My guess is that, since you have a turbo system, the car isn't doing well with heat management. Maybe the intercooler is robbing the cooling air that the AC condenser needs. This would lead to heat soak in your refrigerant system .
The AC system does two things at once: it cools the incoming cabin air and dries it. Therefore, if the AC condenser isn't able to cool the refrigerant sufficiently, it would cause you to have cool, wet air hitting your windshield leading to fog. |

id say you probably need a vented hood or put anti fog on your window. i know that when i have my ac on high and i floor it with just flex and headers the ac goes warm so i cant imagine the amount of heat you have

A tune will not help. You have to get the hot air out and cooler air in. It isn't so much that your engine temperature is high but that the engine bay it self is. Are your headers wrapped?

Has nothing to do with your header or flex. The AC in these cars use a clutch system that disengages the compressor at higher RPMs. Will happen on a bone stock car.

The other option is to have them coated. Expensive but will make them last longer. The downside of wrapping is that you may reduce the life of the headers. Not a big issue unless you are running around at red line all the time but something you need to be aware of.

It is a start at any rate. As mentioned you may want to look at vented hoods as well. The more heat you reduce the better.
