4,3:1 final drive wanted

I bought a MY18 EUDM spec BRZ with 4,1:1 final drive and I am searching for someone that changed recenlty his 4,3:1 final drive and wants to sell his original crown and pinion for some money, of course they should be in perfect working condition!
If you know what other shims, part codes etc needed for installation it would be very helpful.

There's a lot about final drives and part needed on this forum, you will just need to search and find the info. Best to search using Google and do it as "final drive site:www.ft86club.com"

Thanks, I've already done it and the best answer I found is:
http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showp...1&postcount=24
Unfortunately no one seems to know what pinion seal is needed for the "4.56:1 - 41201-19557" gear ratio that best suits my needs thus I am searching for factory crown-pinion unit.

Page 295 has all the part numbers. Same ones that I used for my 4.88 upgrade. And I put the seals into an IS300 m96 carrier. http://www.ft86club.com/forums/attac...5&d=1449908436

The shims you'll just have to order after you measure everything up... follow the service manual and take your time getting it all right. It's a tedious process and no one can give you all of the part numbers you're going to need up front..

I am not talking about shims, I do know each installation requires different shims but what about:

-41201A 9036635133 BEARING, TAPERED ROLLER (FOR REAR DRIVE PINION
REAR)
-41201B 9036630093 BEARING, TAPERED ROLLER (FOR REAR DRIVE PINION
FRONT)
-41201C 9031138070 SEAL, OIL (FOR REAR DIFFERENTIAL CARRIER)
-41201D 9020135497 WASHER, PLATE (FOR REAR DIFFERENTIAL DRIVE PINION)
-41231 4123124010 SPACER, REAR DIFFERENTIAL DRIVE PINION BEARING

The above parts especially the bold ones are the same for EUDM factory 4.1, USDM factory 4.3 or preferably 4.56 final drive?
Cause I think the problem is with diff oil seal, spacer and washer!

RHDJapan has a 4.3 kit comes with everything needed for about 650$ shipped anywhere.
They also have a few others if you want to go more aggressive. for the cost though .2 isn't going to make that much of a difference. i would look at something more aggressive, but depends what your goal is.

4.5 would be on the spot. If it comes with all hardware, i just need to find a shop who can do the labour

4.5 comes with everything but shims, but the shop should have that. Most transmission shops or differential shops should be able to do it. Probably 500-800 for labor.

Yes, they are the same. The diameter of the pinion shaft doesn't change between gear ratios... the number of teeth of both pinion and ring gear change.. it's that ratio that gives you your final drive ratio.. Like I said.. I used these with my 4.88 final drive install and I did all the work myself.

@fika84 thanks, this thread confused me: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showp...1&postcount=24
But it mention what part number is each different gear ratio kit, 41201-19557 (4.56:1) my preferred one costs about 500$ plus shipping from a friendly shop, not bad at all and labor is very cheap locally!

For another perspective for the OP's sake, I've taken my 4.1 to a 4.3 and am very much pleased with it. It's not a world of difference, but can certainly be felt and is an improvement in drive ability for sure.

Would agree that it also depends on the goals. Mine was just to have a bit punchier car without compromising it as a daily driver.
