Pop rivets are stock here?

Been bugging me as to why my rear fenders have these two slots on the rocker panel with nothing in them. I never really noticed before but I wouldn't know if they are left empty from factory for what ever ridiculous reason.

Thanks

Definitely for the factory mud guards. You most likely have the same holes at the front too.

My car did not come with guards either, but I actually prefer it. The body looks so much cleaner without them, and I probably would have removed them anyways.

It's probably the same holes you would use to install RallyArmor flaps as well, if you so desire...

Has anybody said they are for the OEM mudflaps? They are standard equipment on the Canadian cars.

Thanks guys. So there is no plastic cap to cover the holes? My whole rocker panel/fender trim seems to be loose down there.

FRS definitely Trumps BRZ in the mudflap department. Subie doesn't even have a part number for BRZ mudflaps, much less make them standard equipment, so I had to buy the Toyota version (the inbreeding continues unabated).

They're definitely functional, and on a black car they blend in.

So, consider filling the provided holes - it feels awesome.

There should be a couple clips on the outer bottom portion of the bumper that hold that lower inner panel to the bumper to stabilize things.

I would not go without them now. Works well with the orange as well.
