Help on ST coilover install (ST coils owners)
I just need help on people who also owns st coils.
1st: For the two nuts for the rear coils, do you put them separately? One under and the other one on top? Or you put both on top? 2nd: for the front do you need to put this thing, kind of a plate that came off from the stock that holds the stock spring? It was in between the top hats and the front coilover? Do i do the same in rear? Because it had that plate also from the stock struts. 3rd: do this look alright or is it to high? That's w/o the plate i'm talking about in the 2nd question. Thank you for looking and will appteciate your answers! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

1- wat?
2- nope. dont need that for the fronts. - for the rear, theres only one "piece" for the top hats in the rear. you need to use that or there'll be nothing to hold down the spring... it should make sense when you look at it. 3- yes. it sticks up higher than the stock strut.

That's the stock spring seat, and is just taking up space now.

Sorry for the noob question, but would you guys be able to confirm for me that the black metal collars you see in the picture just underneath the top nuts are meant for shipping only? Their not new spring seats that need to be installed are they?

Those are the new spring seats, and you want to keep them in place.

1) Tighten down the first nut to the specified specs. Install the second nut to prevent first nut from loosening.
2) The springs are different diameter than stock. Remove the the stock spring seats front AND rear, and replace with what came with the kit.
