Plus the Corvette is a proper sports car with credentials, racing history, and a good reputation. It actually gets "good" FE too. Although it is pretty expensive and doesn't have a "nice" interior. The Corvette is iconic and one of the very few sports cars that are still successful after being introduced in the 60's. Plus if you compare it to the average v8 musclecar or even the modest Mustang it's a light car despite the v8!

I agree - some of the newer members have been great people - and i encourage more people to join in, get the car and have some nice discussions when its actually out
Yeah it's about the pinnacle of what you guys have at the moment - but i didnt say corvette - when people say stuff like "omg this car is ugly, im going to buy a camaro" i dont understand why they were considering it in the first place if it obviously doesent have 300 brake and do an 11s 1/4 mile, that isnt what its about
the enkei's are probably on this test mule because:
- the platform is using subaru's hubs and running gear which is different to toyota's - offset, bore etc
- if they put anything but alloys that we hadnt already seen on a production car then we would all jump to conclusions that whatever they chose would go onto the production car and subsequently have more people saying "omg i hate those wheels, im getting XXX car instead"
