I think his lack of mechanical knowledge is making him call the rear toe link a tie rod.
I'm a mechanic, my job is open, napa, carquest and best buy are still open (only open B2B on deliveries and drivers leave parts outside the door) and I just rebuilt the bearing plates for the alignment rack yesterday, were probably not the only shop in this situation, but bro wants to figure it out himself, which I think the current context makes harder.
If it needs fixing quick, bring it to a pro.
