The cars with the idle dip issue don't die now because they are new and the ignition system is still operating efficiently. Wait a couple years when the wirings, connectors, sensors and the rest of the D-4S System are a little worn out and has lost some of that "brand new car operating efficiency" and I see these engines dying out randomly.
An idle dip is not normal especially for a car that is stock and brand new.
