This is NOT typical of a quality tuner. Both Moto-Mike at Delicious Tuning have always got back to me within 48 hours or so at the most. If your tuner is taking that long, find a new tuner.

Seems to consume a good bit less from my experience. Granted, I don't have a ton of miles on it, but I haven't had to top it off since switching, so take that for what it's worth.

You can always throw a splitter on the OBD2 port, then connect the extension cable to that, and zip tie the other end under the steering wheel for easy access should you need it in the future.
