The plywood is NOT a good idea. Unless Subaru completely changes the design of the rear seats, it's just molded foam with upholstery glued to it. Any plywood strong enough to hold whatever you put...

Good luck.

P.S. Really, don't do the plywood thing. Just remove the...

I hope not, but after their statement about wanting the BRZ to be exclusive were a bit scary.

The largest difference I posted was $2500. If Subaru is serious about low volume and exclusivity,...

I think people will be upset. I'm guessing at least 26K for the Premium and 28K for the Limited. I wouldn't be too shocked at 27.5K and 30K, but I would re-evaluate my decision to get one.

I'd like:

Engine: 20-30 more HP. Preferably evenly across the RPM range so that applying mid corner throttle is as least unsettling as possible. FI is unnecessary. A more outspoken exhaust...

A friend of mine won a pro solo national championship using mostly Cusco parts on his 2006 STI. (Coilovers, sway bars, tower bars, etc.)

I don't even think 0-60 is that important, unless you're a drag racer. I plan to auto-x the car, so a good metric for me would be 2nd gear acceleration out of slow corners. Maybe 20-50mph or so.

Advan Model 5 (AVS Model 5, then AVS Model T5). My favorite wheels of all time, although they look a little sparse in sizes larger than 17" I had copies (Rota Battles) on my WRX in 2001.
