BRZ Fog Install

So I'm looking at getting some Morimoto XB LED Fog lights for my BRZ. The install requires me to swap the entire fog light housing. I've found tons of videos and guides for the FR-S but not the BRZ.

To change the fog housing on the BRZ, do I need to remove the bumper? Or can I just go through the front black shroud like on the FR-S?

If anyone can post a guide or video, it would be most appreciated.

Just go in through the fender well. No need to remove the bumper.

I don't think I can get the the screws for the housing through there.

You can. I replaced mine with glass fog units last year. Takes about 15m per side.

It takes about 20 minutes.

Do you have a DIY? The linked pics on that thread are broken

You don't really need any pics. Just take out the 4 pop clips that you see in the fender well holding the inner fender liner to the bumper towards the front. Pull the liner back and everything is pretty obvious after that. Personally, I wouldn't do this until it gets warmer as those plastic pop clips can get brittle when it's cold out and break very easily. Unless you have some spares on hand. They are relatively cheap so I have a whole bag of them.

It's also in the owner's manual under how to change the fog bulbs. Once you are in there, you will see the two screws holding the housing. Remove them and the housing will slide right out. It is very easy.
