Thanks Hachi for doing this! I was thinking of doing something similar but hadn't gotten a chance to get around to it. You are on top of things.

Buggy51 11-30-2011 08:46 PM

Though a quick suggestion, do you think you can list the date when the article were posted? It might make sifting through the reviews a little easier.

Thanks hachi!

Good article He mentions manual transmission versus auto with paddle shift. He doesn't elaborate on his comment.. I understand it but when your going to be stuck in LA traffic half the time an auto transmission just makes sense...

You either buy the Manual for the 10% of the time you can use it, or buy the automatic for the 90% of the time you wish you had it.

Yeah WTF. The "wimpy imitation sports car" Supra Turbo soundly beated the "real sports cars" known as the 512 Testarossa and the 911 Turbo in R&T's handling tests.

He seems to find the shifting smooth, but the clutch has no feel.

Sport-Tech 12-02-2011 10:54 AM

Automobile magazine has a first drive up of the BRZ:

http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2596

Generally a rave but they knock the car on one characteristic I've been concerned about - steering feel from the fully electric-assisted rack.

Sport-Tech 12-02-2011 11:04 AM

Autoweek has a first drive review of the BRZ up:

http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2600

Very positive review on the whole, although the reviewer did not appreciate the BRZ's understeer, evident when driven at a less than balls-out pace.

Guff 12-02-2011 01:36 PM

The more the reviews come in the more I want to get in one!!!

That test drive in April/May is going to scare the shit out of the salesman. :bonk:
